My adventure began in Belize, a small country on the Caribbean coast. I spent my days exploring the ancient Mayan ruins of Xunantunich and Tikal, swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Great Blue Hole, and snorkeling with sharks and rays in the Hol Chan Marine Reserve.

Guatemala

From Belize, I traveled to Guatemala, a country with a rich indigenous culture and stunning natural beauty. I hiked to the top of Acatenango Volcano, where I camped overnight and witnessed an incredible sunrise over the active volcano Fuego. I also visited the colorful markets of Chichicastenango and explored the ancient Mayan city of Tikal.

Honduras

Next, I ventured into Honduras, a country known for its pristine beaches and lush rainforests. I spent my days swimming in the turquoise waters of the Bay Islands, hiking through the Pico Bonito National Park, and exploring the ancient Mayan ruins of Copán.

El Salvador

From Honduras, I crossed the border into El Salvador, a small country with a vibrant culture and intriguing history. I visited the capital city of San Salvador, explored the Mayan ruins of Joya de Cerén, and hiked to the top of Santa Ana Volcano.

Nicaragua

Continuing my journey, I arrived in Nicaragua, a country with a relaxed atmosphere and beautiful beaches. I spent my days surfing the waves at Playa Maderas, exploring the colonial city of Granada, and visiting the Masaya Volcano National Park.

Costa Rica

From Nicaragua, I traveled to Costa Rica, a country renowned for its biodiversity and ecotourism. I spent my days zip-lining through the rainforest canopy, white-water rafting on the Pacuare River, and exploring the Manuel Antonio National Park.

Panama

My final stop was Panama, a country with a rich history and a vibrant culture. I visited the Panama Canal, explored the old town of Casco Viejo, and hiked to the top of Ancon Hill for panoramic views of the city.

My summer adventure through Central America was an unforgettable experience. I explored ancient ruins, swam in turquoise waters, hiked to the tops of volcanoes, and immersed myself in the vibrant cultures of the region. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves adventure, history, and nature.
