![Jese Leos](https://storyteller.bookgemstone.com/author/guillermo-blair.jpg)
LDS missions are a time of intense spiritual growth, service, and, yes, even humor. Missionaries experience a wide range of emotions and experiences, and laughter is often a much-needed release.

In this article, we've compiled a collection of witty poems written by missionaries during their two years of service. These poems offer a glimpse into the funny side of mission life, providing a lighthearted perspective on the challenges and triumphs of sharing the gospel.
Week 1: The Missionary Shuffle
> Oh, the missionary shuffle, > A dance so fine and true. > We step and glide with purpose, > Sharing the gospel, it's our cue.
> From door to door, we stride and sway, > Tracting all day long. > We knock and wait, with bated breath, > Hoping for souls to hear our song.
> But sometimes the doors stay shut, > And the hearts remain cold. > We keep on shuffling, never give up, > Our faith and hope stay bold.
Week 10: The Joy of Zoomies
> Oh, the joy of zoomies, > A missionary's delight. > We ride our bikes with reckless glee, > Spreading the word with all our might.
> Through sun and rain, we pedal on, > Our spirits soaring high. > We stop and chat with those we meet, > Planting seeds, watching them fly.
> But beware of the dreaded flat, > That can bring our zoomies to a halt. > With a patch and a prayer, we'll fix it fast, > And continue on our gospel assault.
Week 20: The Art of Tracting
> Oh, the art of tracting, > A skill we must acquire. > We knock on doors with trembling hearts, > Hoping for souls to inspire.
> Some doors open wide with a smile, > Some slam shut with a bang. > We learn to persevere through it all, > Our faith and testimony we'll sang.
> We share our message with love and grace, > Planting seeds that may someday bloom. > Though challenges may come our way, > We'll keep on tracting, never gloom.
Week 30: The Joys of Temple Work
> Oh, the joys of temple work, > A sanctuary, a heavenly place. > We enter in with reverence, > To seek God's grace.
> We perform sacred ordinances, > Sealing families for eternity. > We feel His Spirit in this holy space, > Filling us with love and serenity.
> Though the work is often tiring, > Our hearts are filled with joy. > We know that we're helping others, > And serving God, our dear employ.
Week 40: The Power of Music
> Oh, the power of music, > A universal language of the soul. > We sing our hearts out, sharing our joy, > As we strive to make the gospel whole.
> We sing in chapels, homes, and streets, > Our voices raised in harmony. > We sing to teach, to uplift, to inspire, > And draw all souls to God's decree.
> Through music, we connect with others, > Breaking down barriers, bridging gaps. > We share our faith, our love, our hope, > As we sing our way through life's mishaps.
Week 50: The Gift of Friendship
> Oh, the gift of friendship, > A treasure beyond compare. > We forge unbreakable bonds on our missions, > That will last forever, we declare.
> We share our laughter, our tears, our dreams, > Supporting each other through thick and thin. > We learn from each other, grow together, > As we strive to follow God's gentle win.
> Though our missions may end, > Our friendship will endure. > We'll cherish the memories we've made, > And forever hold each other dear.
Week 60: The Joy of Service
> Oh, the joy of service, > A blessing from above. > We give our time, our talents, our hearts, > Sharing God's love.
> We visit the sick, the poor, the lonely, > Offering comfort and a helping hand. > We teach children, mentor youth, > Guiding them on the path God has planned.
> In serving others, we find true joy, > As we follow in the Savior's steps. > We become instruments in His hands, > Making a difference in the lives of others, it's not a guess.
Week 70: The Power of Prayer
> Oh, the power of prayer, > A lifeline to our God. > We pour out our hearts in humble plea, > Seeking guidance from above, it's not odd.
> We pray for strength, for courage, for wisdom, > For those we love and those we meet. > We pray for miracles, for healing, for hope, > And God answers our prayers, it's not a defeat.
> Through prayer, we connect with heaven, > Receiving divine inspiration. > We find peace in the midst of storms, > And hope in the face of tribulation.
Week 80: The Importance of Patience
> Oh, the importance of patience, > A virtue we must cultivate. > We learn to wait upon the Lord, > Trusting in His perfect will and gate.
> We wait for doors to open, > For hearts to be softened. > We wait for miracles to happen, > Knowing that God's timing is often different.
> In waiting, we grow in faith, > And learn to rely on God's grace. > We become more humble, more teachable, > As we seek His will in every space.
Week 90: The Gift of Repentance
> Oh, the gift of repentance, > A chance to start anew. > We confess our sins, seek forgiveness, > And turn our hearts towards God, it's true.
> Through repentance, we are cleansed, > Our burdens lifted, our spirits freed. > We become worthy vessels, > To receive God's love and decree.
> In repenting, we learn humility, > And a deeper understanding of God's grace. > We grow closer to our Savior, > As we strive to follow in His pace.
Week 100: The Joy of Reunion
> Oh, the joy of reunion, > A moment we long to embrace. > We leave our missions with hearts full of love, > Eager to see our families' faces.
> We share stories, laughter, and tears, > Reconnecting after years apart. > We marvel at the growth we've made, > And the bonds that still connect our hearts.
> Though our missions have ended, > Our journeys continue
